Which phone is the right one for you?Which cell phone is the best? That seems to be the million dollar question. Back in the late 90's cell phones were just phones. They did not have cameras, had limited ring tone capability, and limited data transfer options. In the US, unlike Japan, phones at one time had a lifespan of years versus months. In fact the Nokia 5100 and 6100 series as well as the Motorola Startac models were kept on the market for years. Once major Japanese players like Samsung and LG began introducing phones, the lifespan of phones changed from years to months. Some brands introduced more than 30 new handsets in 2005 spanning multiple carriers including Sprint, Cingular, Verizon, T-Mobile, and more. New features including cameras, GPS, Bluetooth, Data Solutions, and MP3 players are being added to new models. While there are more options than ever on the available phones for each of the carriers, it can be a challenge to determine which features are a must have in our opinion. Bluetooth - With states continuing to add headset laws, bluetooth becomes more of a necessity. Bluetooth headsets continue to increase in quality while dropping in price making headsets more affordable than ever. Going cordless in extremly convenient allowing easy use of the headset while driving, biking, jogging, and more. Styles include boom mic headsets which fold easily to fit into a pocket such as the Motorola H700 or non folding ones such as the Motorola H3 RAZR. Plantronics and Jabra have both come out with ultra compact models such as the Jabra JX10 and the Plantronics Discovery 640. Other styles include the behind the ear design pioneered by Jabra with headsets like the BT500. Motorola has recently introduces a similar design with the Motorola H605. Both headsets are comfortable and have good sound quality.
